"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) So we need to share Jesus to all who have sinned....
Share what you have done here...

In clarification, it's how God has used you to Evangelize. I'd share but my experiences are limited and not so much evangelizing as people falling into cell (for one reason or another) outside of my initation or direct intervention. Soon you will be hearing from me, and who knows, maybe it'll be from another country.

Hey its arbie. I'm so suprised I'm the first to post something.
Anyways, the Evangelism is such a blessing because God used that to speak to me alot as well as to confront me A LOT! If Jesus was my cell leader, if I was one of the apostles and I kept on allowing people to pass me by without at least exposing them to God's word.... I don't think Jesus would be so thrilled. With his apostles Jesus wasn't sugar coating and lubby dubby, He was firm and straight forward.
At the moment I am just working on speaking about God as my second nature... actually my FIRST nature. Because evangelizing comes with the package deal of being a Christian. You can't be a Christian without evangelism!!!! So my first attempt was at Home Depot. I was waiting for one of the women to ask me if I need help... but Ralph came to me first! Oh well, but anyways after helping me with what I needed I simply asked him if he was Christian. He laughed and he said no he doesn't believe in that. And then I asked him do you believe in God? And he said he fell away from that a long time ago and that he went to a Catholic church. Then I ask if he cares about going to heaven.. and weird thing he said was that: we're already in hell and that we probably are going to heaven. Well I just said thats not true, and that thats a shame. I didn't really know what else to say so i said thank you and left.
That was Sunday. Monday I went to school and I went to the ATM. This guy (i forgot his name) who was my friend's friend approached me. I did a little small talk, and then I asked him are you Christian. He is Catholic, but he doesn't believe in the whole confession with priest. I asked him if he knew the 10 commandments and pretty much went from there. It went pretty well. But he kept insisting that he respects what I believe. Therefore I don't think he is absorbing what was said.
Today, my classmate sold me his old algebra book, and so I gave him (obviously money i owed him...) as well as a movie ticket. And then I asked if he was Christian and gave him pretty much the same spiel. We ended up talking about hell and how Jesus went to hell for us. He asked me about pergatory... and I said "from Genesis to Revelation there is nothing about pergatory" (thank you SImey and Thiago). then he asked where did dead babies go.. and i told him to heaven because they are innocent (Revelations during the rapture unborn children and children are taken). So I told him if he has any questions that I'm available.. we exchanged numbers... and I hope that he doesn't hit on me. LOLZ!!!!! (not to seem full of myself.) sorry... but girls we need to be careful!!!!
anyways... well i'm not going to document EVERY encounter... because this should be our first nature as Christians. God bless you guys you disciples of Christ.

Well, we went evangelizing on Saturday after a great moment of prayer. At first i was so scared, it didn't help that i got kindah lost from my team with super BLABLER Bold Simey. Trevor and I discussed so many times who should we go to but did not get the courage, till Trevor started to truly go for this older man with Marrium and Sarah showed up to join me in the WIG selling ladies... Sarah didn't know how to approach them, and neither did i, but some type of boldness just took me and i pulled sarah with me to their wig stand and started to ask them about wigs for sarah... Then BOOM! We are in the evangelism talk and i must say Rebecca (the wig lady) was one of the friendliest people i ever met! In her sincerity she answered all the questions and really looked repented!.... Soon Sarah and I were already giving her our number and she seemed really touched. But unfortunaly TImE did not help us and we had to leave right when we were getting fired up!... I can't wait for next time! SARAH IS MY PIE BUDDY!

wow guys! all of these testimonies are awesome! great job arbz! u go get those wig ladies andré! hehehe
I have some awesome experiences of my own actually!
The first day that we went out was a very nerve racking start but after doing it, it became such a way of life sort of style! At first, me and matt tried to speak to this woman who works at the children store but she kept describing the job to me and i kept saying that nights would be kinda hard for me because I'm always at church and i tried to use that as my ticket in but it didn't work out hehe. but after that me and matt saw a guy sitting on the bench outside and i asked him if we could ask him some questions and then we went threw the whole 10 commandments thing and the judge analogy and all that and he wasn't all EMOTIONAL and all that but it really got him thinking. I asked him if he had a bible at home and he said yes and you know that was about it and he said thanks and we went on with some small talk and said good bye. that was a good one
Another time that I did it was on Becky, my disciple. It went really great considering the fact that she never took anything about God seriously before. Before this course, I had been praying and begging for God to bring her down to a moment of desperation and for God to reveal to me what I needed to pray for in her life. God showed me that and the next day after this course, she came to my house in desperation for hope. I confronted her and told her that she's going to die if she continues this lifestyle. I asked her if she was ready to die, if she was sure of what would happen to her when she stood before God. She said no and I went threw the 10 commandments and i showed her that's how she stands right now before. she said "wow! I'm horrible!" those words were amazing to hear because every time I would tell her she's doing something wrong, she would just laugh. she cried and i asked her if she would like to pray with me and she did. she begged Jesus to help her change and then i prayed 4 her and assured her that she was 4gvn and that i wouldn't judge her the way everyone has.
there are so many other blessings i have 2 share but i gotta get ready 4 Wendy's so i'll share later!
luv y'all!

Well in a nutshell my evangelism experiences didn't go over so well when we went out last Saturday. Sarah, Arbie, & I couldn't decide who to talk to at first until a girl selling straighteners pulled me over to talk about the product. Seeing this as a good opportunity to share the gospel, Arbie & I decided to introduce the topic. What we didn't for-see was a communication barrier as she (Tal) was new to the U.S., fresh from ISRAEL! After a very choppy conversation that left me feeling very frustrated, I gave her my number and told her that I'd be by again. We didn't run into anyone else before everyone had to leave for the church's anniversary. I stayed behind because i had to bring Matt, Trevor, and Ariana and Matt was still with Raph. I tried again w/2 more people but 1 spoke even less English than Tal (try none) and the other was definitely a true Christian. So over all, rather disappointing.
Then, this past Friday, as i was picking Hayley up for my cell she asked to invite one of her friends and i said sure. So we pulled up to the house and she and Rebecca start screaming at this girl to get in the car..and she did! Then they did the same to her sister who was coming down the road! I was in such shock i didn't know what to do. So i told the girls that we were going to a bible study and that they didn't have to come if they didn't want to. Both said they would and we went to Maria's. It turns out the entire lesson was about "Deciding for Jesus" (Acts, Lesson 36) so it was a great opportunity for me and for them. It was a bit confrontational and definitely had me a bit nervous, but they did say they liked it and both showed up the next day for our Activity Day. So we'll see what happens. I also had another chance when one of the other girls I bring to youth came Saturday and as I was bringing her home, she opened up. I was honest with her about the need for a true change and that it only comes from Jesus and she not only listened but accepted Jesus when we got to her house! I'm so happy that God touched her heart and I know that He will continue to move in my life.
So that's all i have.....for now.
Love you all.

YUP YUP! i was one christian with a BIG FF on ma forehead... untill i took the evangelism course..... i came to find out we have been preaching falsely basicly... we have been promissing things to people....lol not GOD! I had been giving people A FALSE REALITY OF "WHY YOU SHOULD ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR". I would tell them come to christ he has a wonderfull plan for your life...lol when we have soooooo many christians going thru sooo many tribulations....how do we explain that? Instead of preaching about SIN...telling people we "MESSED UP" AND THAT WE ARE ALL SINNERS...WE ARE ALL GUILTY and FOR THE REASON JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS. But we can repent and accept that JESUS CAN JUSTIFY US BEFORE GOD ON JUDGEMENT DAY IF WE ALLOW JESUS TO COME IN OUR LIVES AS LORD AND SAVIOR. HE PROMISSES TO BE WITH US AT ALL TIMES! TRIBULATIONS OR NO TRIBULATIONS.... Well the course taught me....WORD BY WORD PROVED ME WRONG in the bible alone. When i saw how paul preached and jesus preached....i was just soooo ashamed of myself for sugar coating the GOSPEL... on that same day....i WENT TO THE STREETS and JUST GAVE THE GOSPEL AS IT IS.....as JESUS DID....and i found this beautifull gurl WHO CRUMBLED B4 MY EYES..when told she was guilty before GOD...that feeling of FULLFILMENT WAS JUST AMAZING...i saw GOD WORK IN HER HEART right before my eyes! SO ONEEEE MORE LIFE GOES ON KNOWING THE REAL GOSPEL. PRAISE BE TO OUR LORD JESUS. WAY OF THE MASTER IS THE ONLY WAY! TAKE THE COURSE...U WILL ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT! You will leave confident....to act under the LORDS guidance.... AS JESUS DID....we SHALL DO NOW. GOD BLESS YALL!

Amen Carla. It definately is an amazing course. I've been working on putting it into practice more. And i must mention to everyone that if they have not gotten either the small or large Evidence Bible, to do so. It really helps explain so many things.

OK Andre I have no idea if I'm doing this right or not but I'll share my experience anyway. We went to the mall to evangelize and I was able to do the whole way of the master with a girl selling proactiv products. She took my phone number, I left her with a tract, and I plan on following up since I know where she works! It was scary at first, but she was willing to listen and share her answers and I know that God will be speaking to her. She was raised Catholic but walked away and hasn't really given much thought to God.

Awesome job Maria! it's so cool that you got to do the whole thing and that she was receptive. Now let's pray that she keeps taking it serisouly and will come visit us at youth!
